A semi-realistic wolf rpg

There are little white lies and then there are those with cruel intent – the latter whose telling will shake the very foundations of the world our forebears have strived to build. Never has such treachery been witnessed; an atrocious rumor passed along from ear to ear with hushed, horror-struck whispers. The crimes they shall commit in the name of their truths shall be terrible as the word justice is redefined.

From their ethereal perches in the heavens, the Gods watch the mortals’ quarrels with interest - some filled with disgust while others relish heartily in the carnage. The divine have sworn oaths centuries ago to leave mortals to their blunders, but now, more so than ever before, these oaths will be tested. And what if the Gods choose to interfere; will the mortal wolves be better off…or worse?

And you thought this bond was sacrosanct. Shame on you.

September 14, 2009 - Well the site has been revamped a bit, as you can clearly see! Still tweaking a few odds and ends, but for the most part it's complete. MF is now a semi-realistic roleplay, with the inclusion of immortal wolves and a new realm strictly for the Gods. This means your wolves CANNOT enter the immortal realm, sorry. But don't worry, I've given you quite a few new boards, some in the neutral territory and a new board in each pack's territory. Make sure the read the descriptions, you might just find something of interest in a particular board or two. *wink wink* God auditions are open, but you'll need to read all the rules concerning them first by clicking here.

September 8, 2009 - Well, all canons finally have 'homes.' Thanks for taking care of them guys. Please please keep your canons active, as they are all crucial to the plot. If you are unable or unwilling to keep them active, they will be reassigned to someone else who will actually play them. I'm sorry if that seems harsh, but it's the only way this site will stay active is with active alphas. Another thing I cannot stress enough is the quality and length of your posts. Please be respectful of other members in responding to their own creative labors of love. It's only a 300 word count minimum, it's not hard at all guys. Keep this in mind.

	The Shores of Moriah At the edge of the divine realm lies a frozen shore, the strange, cerulean waters forever still. The temperatures are so cold here, a mortal being would meet almost instant death. Legend says what lurks beneath the crystalline surface though - is far more deadly than the cold.	0	0
	The Fields of Pyros Burning, burning...always burning. The voracious fires rage day in and day out, their wicked flames forever devouring the dead grasses. Something tells me there's someone to blame for this foul magic...I wonder who that might be.	0	0
	Tlallali Wood There are no words to do full justice to the beauty of the glowing, ever-blossoming forest of the Gods. Tlallali Wood is a place of true, untainted beauty.	1	1
	Pools of Nerine The clear, flowing waters cascading from the falls of Nerine collect here, providing a safe haven where none may quarrel, not even the Gods themselves. It is a place of serenity, where all those whom enter may find the peace they seek.	0	0
	Anatolias Rise The God's sanctuary of light. Stretching infinitely in either direction, the wildflower field of Anatolias Rise are truly a sight to behold. Here and here alone does the sun remain illuminated in the sky, forever blazing across the world...never to set again.	0	0
	The Eilam The exact origins of this mythical place are shrouded in mystery. One day this void in space was empty, the next it was filled by this...an desolate meadow save a few lone, dead trees. Though time may have all but forgotten this anomaly of creation the Gods have not. There must be some purpose to this lifeless place.	0	0

	Edmore Flats Vibrant yellow mule’s ears flowers stress across the breathtaking expanse of Edmore Flats for miles, halting at the edge of the snow-capped Zethus Ridge. Small prey is incredibly abundant here.	0	0
	Whimoen Wood In the wintry enclosure of Whimoen Wood, fall is but a fleeting memory. Aspen groves are stark and bare, and little life is sustainable here. All would be lost without the small, clear flowing streams which dot the harsh landscape.	0	0
	Talbot's Lair It's a strange, sinister place within Whimoen Wood...and if you're wise you'll listen to that warning voice inside your head, telling you to steer clear of Talbot's Lair. There's nothing good about this place for only darkness and destruction awaits.	0	0
	Zethus Ridge Zethus Ridge is a barren mountain range, covered in snow for most of the year. The land is harsh and unforgiving, but somehow the Cabiri pack has made their home here, a large cave gouged in the bare rock serving as their den.	0	0

	Mt. Morgana The awesome sight of Mt. Morgana, the highest peak in the Gyes mountain range is truly something to behold. The skies are clear, windless, and bitterly cold. Prey and predators alike are scarce here at heights reaching up to 7000 feet.	1	12
	Illiara Forest At the base of the imposing Mt. Morgana lies the vast expanse of snowy woodland, the Illiara Forest. Despite its freezing climate, the prey is surprisingly plentiful here due to a number of hardy plant species which sustain large numbers of herbivorous animals.	0	0
	Lake Onais The semi-frozen expanse of Lake Onais covers much of Mt. Morgana's peak. Though clean and pure, the arctic temperatures are dangerous to all who dare to drink them. It is somewhere nearby, though location unknown, that the Echion wolves have their den.	0	0
	Pensri Falls Though the dangerously strong pull of the rapids and the frigid temperature of the water make this a dangerous place to be, those brave enough to travel here may find themselves blessed by the most graciously divine.	0	0

	Crius Forest The Crius Forest surrounds the Iolaus territory, filled with ancient, towering Redwoods. Hidden deep in these woods, well out of sight, lies the Iolaus' den.	1	41
	Lirin Bend Lirin Bend is a river sanctuary in the center of Iolaus lands, its still waters reflecting the towering peaks of the remote Kiiari Ridge.	1	7
	Vena Springs These waters are said to have healing powers, for those fortunate enough to be deemed worthy of the gifts Paian bestows. For the weary, the hungry, the injured - there is no place to seek repast such as this.	0	0
	Avrin Meadow An explosion of wildflowers blanket the picturesque landscaping of Avrin Meadow following copious summer rains. Though beautiful, this land is deceiving. At home in the surrounding fields are more than just flowers and bumblebees; wolves beware.	0	0

	Kiiari Ridge In the southernmost tip of Corvus territory lies the rocky outcropping known as Kiiari Ridge. Wildflowers adorn the jagged rocks, hiding the entrance to the Corvus den from prying eyes.	1	3
	Echamer Woods Possibly one of the most enchanted forest landscapes imaginable, Echamer Woods lies at the foot of the Kiiari Ridge. It is the prime hunting ground for any predatory animal, as it offers a wide variety of prey, ripe for the picking.	1	9
	Weber River Snaking its way through the heart of the Echamer Woods, the Weber River is the life source of the Corvus pack. But be wary of the vicious currents that lie in wait in these serene, translucent waters.	0	0
	Felyse Orchard Though the trees that grow here no longer bear their colorful fruits, this place is still one of great intrigue to those who understand it. Rumor has it that the patches of clover which blanket this once fertile orchard are a favorite snack of one particularly sly deity. If you're looking for an ounce of luck, this might be the place to start.	0	0

	Salamin Lake Nestled between Corvus and Cabiri lands, Salamin Lake is one of nature’s hidden treasures. This flourishing habit provides sustainability for vast amounts of creatures, large and small, whilst the waters are said to have healing powers. This land is a sanctuary where all wolves may reside without dispute for territory.	1	12
	Eden Hill A fitting name, for a truly inspiring setting. The rolling hills at the base of Kiiari Ridge are carpeted with a glorious array of wildflowers. Large herbivores gather here to nibble the tender shoots, along with innumerable smaller creatures. This land is a sanctuary where all wolves may reside without dispute for territory.	1	4
	Syanjai Bluff The rocky heights of Syanjai Bluff are impressive indeed - beautiful as well as dangerous to all who dare scale the slick jagged rocks. You'll find no prey or shelter here, unless you prefer the impenetrable shells of crabs and oysters.	0	0
	Morte' Grove Stories say these woods are evil and the souls who live here damned. The only creatures who dare to enter are fools or miscreants, looking for a one-way-ticket to Hell. Be careful what you eat here, for it might just be your last meal.	0	0
	The Forgotten Thicket It has been many decades since the wolves of these lands remembered this place, now wholly unrecognizable from times past. Such a wild place, overrun by nature. And what of that strange arch, the one where not even the birds or snakes dare go near...There's a legend says it's haunted, but I think it's something else entirely.	0	0
